I had been working for others for quite some time, and I did not like the way the customer was sold what the company sold. Since I started this
repair shop, I've always tried to give the customer options. I have always said there is more than one way to get a job done.
Sometimes I speak my mind and tell the customer the truth about their equipment. Some may get offended, but I don't want someone to settle up their bill and then days later find out that the unit was not worth fixing. Now this is usually not because of the age of the unit, but the quality. Some older equipment is worth spending more money on than some newer equipment. Sometimes the price of equipment will come down, and the repair bill could be close to the cost of a new replacement unit. If I know this, I like to let you know ahead of time. In April of 2006, my wife Ann gave up her job to come work with me. Together, we can get much more work done, more than I ever thought was possible. This is the biggest reason as to why we can get most of our work completed by the end of the week. On average, most of the equipment we look at on Monday can be finished by Friday. Our future goal is to expand our building so we can have more products on display. We would also eventually like to carry more new products and have more products and inventory on hand. |
